The specialization is concerned to build a specialized medical knowledge for students in the field of laboratory medical sciences, in order to prepare them to work in the different sections of laboratory work belonging to laboratories, hospitals and medical centers.

The students are taught courses that help to form the basis of the necessary knowledge such as blood science, microbiology, biochemistry and physiology of the human body.  While the emphasis is on the theoretical aspects, the previous courses are provided with the practical applications that are given to the students inside the college and follow up their practice in the field under special supervision.

During this course, the students receive  number of basic courses in pharmacology. Some of which are related to the different types of drugs, pharmaceuticals, and substances related to the types of drugs, their uses and side effects, including all body organs. In addition to many other courses as well as practical courses in which the student apply the manufacture of different pharmaceutical forms and get trained in the field of pharmacy to manage the pharmacy and deal with orders and storage of medicines, as well as mastering reading and dealing with the receipt of medical prescriptions . The students conduct scientific visits to some pharmaceutical factories in Jordan in order to identify the modern machines used in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as to identify the nature of the work that you wish to choose after graduation.
